Terms of Use
These terms explain the rules and risks that apply when you access ZerpSwap or a partner-branded version powered by ZerpSwap. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
ZerpSwap provides software for discovering XRPL assets, viewing public ledger information, preparing and broadcasting signed transactions, inspecting wallets, and interacting with decentralised exchange and escrow features. Partner-branded sites use the same underlying software and infrastructure.
ZerpSwap is an interface, not a bank, broker, custodian, investment adviser, token issuer, or guarantor. We do not hold your assets or promise that any transaction or token will perform as expected.
2. Eligibility and responsibility
You must be legally able to agree to these terms and use the service where you live. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, tax obligations, sanctions, and restrictions. Do not use ZerpSwap if doing so is prohibited in your jurisdiction.
3. Wallets, PINs, and seeds
ZerpSwap is designed as a self-custody interface. You remain responsible for your wallet, seed phrase, PIN, devices, backups, and all transactions signed with your keys.
- Never disclose your seed phrase or PIN to another person.
- Confirm the destination, token issuer, currency, amount, slippage, and transaction details before signing.
- Use a separate wallet and appropriate security practices for high-value holdings.
Loss of a seed, compromised device, malicious browser extension, phishing, or signing the wrong transaction may cause irreversible loss.
4. XRPL transactions
Transactions are submitted to the XRP Ledger, a public decentralised network outside ZerpSwap's control. Once validated, a transaction generally cannot be reversed by ZerpSwap. Quotes and estimates can change before validation because of market movement, slippage, competing transactions, liquidity, network conditions, fees, and path changes.
You authorise only the transaction shown in your signing flow. Review it carefully. A displayed success message does not replace independent confirmation on the validated ledger.
5. Token, AMM, and escrow risks
XRPL tokens may be unaudited, illiquid, manipulated, frozen, clawed back, abandoned, misleading, or worthless. Token names, symbols, images, descriptions, prices, market capitalisation, liquidity, holder counts, trends, and activity can be incomplete or inaccurate.
AMM swaps and liquidity positions involve price impact, slippage, impermanent loss, front-running or transaction-ordering risk, and ledger-feature risk. Escrow conditions and release times may be irreversible or unusable if configured incorrectly. Nothing displayed by ZerpSwap is financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.
6. Fees
XRPL network fees, AMM trading fees, issuer transfer fees, partner fees, or other disclosed charges may apply. A “0% fee” statement refers only to the applicable ZerpSwap router fee unless clearly stated otherwise; it does not mean the transaction has no network, pool, issuer, spread, slippage, or third-party cost.
7. Market data and third-party services
Public ledger data and metadata may come from XRPL nodes, indexers, token issuers, market-data providers, or other public services. This information may be delayed, unavailable, or wrong. Links and integrations do not mean ZerpSwap endorses or controls a third party. Their own terms and privacy practices apply.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to break the law, evade sanctions, steal assets, phish users, distribute malware, abuse infrastructure, disrupt the service, manipulate data, bypass security controls, or interfere with another person's wallet. Automated use must be reasonable and must not overload public XRPL nodes or ZerpSwap systems.
9. Availability and changes
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may be changed, rate-limited, suspended, or discontinued. Public nodes, APIs, market-data providers, DNS, hosting, browsers, and XRPL itself may fail independently. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, exact quotes, successful routing, complete history, or permanent storage of local wallet data.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or security. You use it at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZerpSwap, its contributors, service providers, and branding partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for lost assets, profits, data, opportunity, goodwill, or access resulting from your use of the service, third-party conduct, token behaviour, market movement, or XRPL transactions. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service.
12. General
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms do not create a partnership, employment, agency, fiduciary, or advisory relationship. Mandatory consumer rights and applicable law remain in effect.
Because the service does not currently publish a formal legal entity, jurisdiction, or legal-contact address, this draft does not invent one. Those details should be added after professional legal review.
